Schedule Update
Tentative schedules are out and I put together a tentative schedule for this year. I don't expect the final schedules to be out until probably April. Just some comments on what I have seen. I maintain a spreadsheet of all the Mod hooks for HSTPA, Wolverines, OSTPA, RN2, GN, Unl, and ATPA GA. It looks like HSTPA, OSTPA, and Unl stayed about the same, OSTPA lost a couple hooks, Wolverines and ATPA lost a lot of hooks, RN2 lost some hooks, but gained new ones, and the GN circuit picked up hook and a whole lot of miles to drive.

Just some random thoughts. GN and ATPA have 2 conflicts, so I don't see anyone precommitting to both circuits like in the past couple of years. NTPA GN circuit has hooks in St Hyacinthe, QUE and Gaffney, SC. Both are double hooks, so that helps with the miles, but there were a lot fewer precommits when the GN circuit included Galax, VA than when that pull was dropped last year. It will be interesting to see what happens there. Bruce Slagh told me at the Wolverine Banquet go-karting that he thought only he and Snyder would precommit. Tomah and Rochester conflict for me, so GN is not a consideration. Also, if someone wants to run both GN and Unl, Hell week got worse. The Chapel Hill-St Hyacinthe-Ionia run is very difficult. 8 hooks in 9 days and over 1850 miles, not including mileage to and from home. It is good to see that sanctioned pulling is making inroads into Kentucky. I know Kentucky has a strong brush pulling circuit, but both NTPA RN2 and HSTPA picked up two hooks a piece in that state. Good job.

Blog Update
I have been very bad this year keeping my blog up to date. Between the new job, overseas travel, and work on the tractor, it just seems like there isn't enough time. I have decided not to follow the All-Stars Survivor in my blog, simply free up some time. I will still catch every episode and would love to hear your comments. Also, my puzzle is out of pictures. I am going to search for more tonight, but please e-mail if it fails to load a picture. I can't always do the puzzle everyday and don't know when it runs out.
