National Farm Machinery Show
We got our letter in the mail yesterday, and we were not accepted to the farm show. I always have mixed feelings about the farm show. On the one hand, it is an honor to be selected, the crowds are fantastic, it is really cool pulling inside, and the Louisville staff really makes you feel like a king. On the other hand, it is smack dab in the middle of the off season and the weather is always a wild card. The problem is that you get the tractor stripped down, don't have enough time to get it all done, so you are working in January to get it back together, just to make on pull, then tear it back down to finished what you started. And then the weather...we have never experience bad weather in the 3 trips we have made there, but being in the middle of February, that is probably just luck.

So, while I am disappointed we were not selected, I am also somewhat relieved that I wont be working out in the shop in January. The big disappointment is that, Gates, our sponsor was going to have a big calibration for us at their factory. There is always next year.

Currently, I have the chassis stripped completely naked and if going through the drive train components. As soon as I finish that, I will start in on going through the motors.
