Update
Got a request for an update from a fan. The project I am working on at work has really been in high gear. A typical product for a new car has a 3 or 4 year development cycle. Right now, we are getting ready to start on 2011 model year development. However, the radio I am currently designing is a 2009 model year and and we just started on it in November. The result is that I worked over 100 hours of overtime just in February, on top of the normal 40-hour weeks. So, the tractor took a back seat.

I have completely went through the chassis, made changes, fixed some things, and put it back together and it is ready to run.

Of my five motors, two were checked last fall and are ready to go. One needs to be freshened, but doesn't really have anything wrong with it. The motor with the broken crank from Noblesville, I expected to finish this weekend, but ran into some problems. Lastly, the repairs to the block I blew in Sandwich are coming along nicely. It should be mounted an ready to run before Wilmington.

The last I heard, there are only 4 precommitted mods for 2008. I don't know who they are besides us. This brings back memories of our first 2001 season.

Being an engineer, we live and die by the MS Project schedule at work, and so it is only fitting that I have the same type of plan at home. Right now, the plan says I will be together and ready to run on May 11th.
